Unfortunately this is just the beginning..... maybe those that have been saying for months that terrorists were coming with the refugees were right... we didn't want them to be right. And we now see that at least one of them came on a boat pretending to be a refugee....
My heart goes to all those peaceful muslim people that are going to be abused simply because they are muslims....

They have muddied the whole pool, there is now a toxic mix of refugees, you can't blame the local people for responding in a negative way.

I don't want to be pessimistic but I have the feeling we'll see another Paris like attack in other European cities soon, and the UK / Italy and Germany are probably next.
Rock: Trump is an idiot with fake hair!
lol
Yup and France has an equivalent too in Marine le Pen, albeit with a better dress sense and a less absurd hairstyle!

Call me what you will Tim, I smell a rat, just alone from France declaration of war on ISIS. This thing was not 24 hours old and they were bombing targets in Syria? ???????????.

Yep Star, something stinks about this. And the Syrian Passport too. Shades of Atta's Passport on the rubble of the WTC.

Re: Paris Attacks
France has been a part of the coalition bombing ISIS for a long time now, so not too strange imo that it dropped bombs so soon after the attacks, it's been dropping bombs all along. At least, that was my understanding?
I also heard that the passport has been proven to be a fake. If you watch the video that Rogue posted, there's a pretty good explanation why, as to what ISIS's motives are and what they are (and are not) aiming for... https://islanders.canadian-forum.com/t1498-isil-is-weak

Sadly, it's an ongoing saga there's been a female suicide bomber set her bomb off during a raid looking for more of those involved:

Re: Paris Attacks
The real problem is K, we do not know who ISIS is. Its, funded by Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, France, EU, US, I could go on. Now they say there are three Frenchmen, two Belgians, one Syrian, I feel like a fool the way they want me to think. They are playing with innocent lives all around.
There seems to be too many 9/11 imprints on the whole thing.

We are going to have to agree to disagree Stargate as I am not a conspiracy theorist. I don't know who this "they" is you are referring to. Homegrown terrorists are not uncommon. I also don't know how you get all those different countries as funding it. So, like I said, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Re: Paris Attacks
Fair enough K, I pick up pieces of information and put my own twist on it. I can understand when you can't see where I am coming from.
I kind of wonder why you say you are not a
conspiracies t theorist?
What I mean with they, the ones who are doing this to us on both sides, I cannot define specifically "they" anymore.

I think this story is true because I know these tablets, they are made in Germany.
The tiny pill fueling Syria’s war and turning fighters into superhuman soldiers
s The Post's Liz Sly recently noted, the war in Syria has become a tangled web of conflict dominated by "al-Qaeda veterans, hardened Iraqi insurgents, Arab jihadist ideologues and Western volunteers."
On the surface, those competing actors are fueled by an overlapping mixture of ideologies and political agendas.
Just below it, experts suspect, they're powered by something else: Captagon.
A tiny, highly addictive pill produced in Syria and now widely available across the Middle East, its illegal sale funnels hundreds of millions of dollars back into the war-torn country's black-market economy each year, likely giving militias access to new arms, fighters and the ability to keep the conflict boiling, according to the Guardian.
“Syria is a tremendous problem in that it’s a collapsed security sector, because of its porous borders, because of the presence of so many criminal elements and organized networks,” the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC) regional representative, Masood Karimipour, told Voice of America. “There’s a great deal of trafficking being done of all sorts of illicit goods — guns, drugs, money, people. But what is being manufactured there and who is doing the manufacturing, that’s not something we have visibility into from a distance.”
[The long war against Islamist extremism has become more complicated than ever]
A powerful amphetamine tablet based on the original synthetic drug known as "fenethylline," Captagon quickly produces a euphoric intensity in users, allowing Syria's fighters to stay up for days, killing with a numb, reckless abandon.
"You can't sleep or even close your eyes, forget about it," said a Lebanese user, one of three who appeared on camera without their names for a BBC Arabic documentary that aired in September. "And whatever you take to stop it, nothing can stop it."
"I felt like I own the world high," another user said. "Like I have power nobody has. A really nice feeling."

Amphets have been given to soldiers through recent history even by our western forces. It does go some way in explaining some of the atrocities.

Re: Paris Attacks
Well Rouge, I know those tablets from the German hospitals. At one time they were all over Germany. Then one day they were gone.
What these tablets do, is to sink your fear level, and you enter a feeling of supremacy, over yourself.
From my humble position, I would say that is a very bad habit. I thought they were banned years ago.

There is an history to that medicine, it comes from I think, a village in Angola. I have read the Zulu Tribes of South Africa gave it to solders who were involved in direct combat.
Something that sticks out in my mind, was that I could not sleep, and felt over my self sort of.

That's what speed does (amphetamines). They wire you up, make your system go faster. That's why they're used as diet pills. They keep you going longer, awake longer...
