I totally agree, there’s still a deep-seated issue with racism in the US Police which needs to be dealt with. Biden has picked up on it too, he’s said how the police would’ve treated Black Lives Matter supporters very differently. 
The cops’ attitude is all messed up, it needs to change.

Picking up on what you said in the game threads, Aggie, about Trump being gone: I checked out the latest news about Trump, and it does actually look like there’s a genuine possibility he might get kicked out of office before his term ends!
I’m hoping it happens. He’s already been the worst President in US history. He deserves not to be allowed to complete a single term, and to go down in history for that!

Just glancing at Wiki page for Q-Anon makes my brain hurt, LOL! I’m all in favour of different opinions, as long as those opinions all have a logical basis; these conspiracy theories have so much nonsensical crap in them that they completely do my head in.

Yeah, Nancy Pelosi has apparently said if he isn’t removed from office immediately, Congress will impeach him again. They’re making preparations to do a quickie impeachment, which they say they could do within a week or so.

Nancy Pelosi has also sought assurances from the head of the Military that Trump won’t be allowed to launch a nuclear strike before he leaves office.

(I think Nancy Pelosi is brilliant BTW. I think she’s been a constant thorn in the side of Trump’s presidency throughout its duration, and she’s done an outstanding job.)

Yes, there’s concern that fascism might make a return in general in the aftermath of the pandemic, as it’s creating the kind of economic conditions which have been shown to encourage fascism in the past; I’m hoping measures can be taken to preempt that and stop it from happening.

I’m definitely moved by it, as for a long time I’ve believed Kristallnacht was one of the most shameless displays of depravity in history after the Holocaust itself; as someone who was born and raised in Austria and witnessed the aftermath of World War II there, Arnie is especially well qualified to make this comparison with the Trump riots IMO.

I am definitely hoping the 2nd impeachment for his fomenting insurrection sticks, so he loses his Presidential pension/travel expense, security detail at taxpayer expenses and that he can never, ever run again for political office!
