Well, it was an okay speech, but still a lot of word salad politically speaking. It did however send the orange man-child into a tizzy! Look, the truth is, many are not happy with the current situation of one shit sandwich fighting another one, it is scarily too much like 2016 all over again, and that worries me. Once both Biden and Harris are in, there is still a need to keep them honest as they are tools of the Wall-Street based Oligarchy and not as progressive as they may claim. they are still bank-rolled by the wealthy elites. Many voting for Biden/Harris do so knowing all this but wanting trump out and gone so bad they are willing to settle for a lesser evil.

You’re totally right, Lenz - the only reason I’m in favour of Biden is that he isn’t Trump, so many more must feel the same way, and I guess he’s a long way away from necessarily being good - although people will be blinded to that because of who/what he’s going up against!
I don’t know too much about Kamala yet, but I’m thinking that if Biden gets in, it’ll only be a matter of time before she takes over the Presidency, so I’m essentially viewing her as a potential Presidential candidate even now... Time I read up about her I guess! LOL.

I’m actually glad about that; I’m sure that if Trump does lose the election there will be ways of making sure he can’t stay in office beyond January 20th without using physical force.

As for previous disputed elections, I can definitely believe what’s been said here. I vividly remember the 2000 election, with the manual recounting of votes that seemed to go on forever - but as far as I remember there never any mention of involving the military. (I don’t know so much about 1876, that was before my time LOL.)

I think that if the armed forces did get involved in a dispute like this it could rapidly escalate the situation as I think it might be seen as a military coup, and there’s a chance the country could then be plunged into total civil war. I think they’re right when they say they want to leave the politics to the politicians!

Some events which have been in the headlines, such as the ones which helped inspire the Black Lives Matter movement to gain momentum this year, even combine them.

There is no such thing as a "race", its as made up and as ridiculous as witches, humans have billions of genetic traits, arbitrarily selecting "colour" out of billions of traits as basis for a categorization, and then arbitrarily selecting "skin" instead of eyes or hair. And then arbitrarily selecting an arbitrary few number of colours such as "black" and "white" instead of 64 colours. It makes no sense, cant people figure this out, its made up, there is no race.
