Love the melody of this song, and it’s another one that seems to trigger strong waves of emotion when I hear it, and always has done:

I’ve never been a Pet Shop Boys fan as such, but I’ve always loved this track, I feel like it stands out from their others somehow, and I love its sweeping melody:

This song brings back great memories of a time when loads of things were going well and when I was feeling happy and liberated in life, as well as being blissfully unaware of struggles to come in years ahead. I guess it also appeals to the coffee drinker in me, although I hadn’t yet discovered coffee when this was in the charts, LOL.

This one immediately appealed to my rebellious streak when it came out, and I’ve always liked its attitude and sentiment anyway:

This song is particularly close to my heart. It could even be a past life connection, I’m not sure. But I connect powerfully with its lyrics and sentiment, and it’s one of my favourite songs ever from an emotional point of view:

This track appeals to my melancholy side. It got released just as I was struggling through a particularly tough stage of my childhood, but had recently discovered music and become aware of its power; I actually connected with this song and used it to help motivate me, even though I only realised later on that that was what I’d managed to do.

I love the tune of this track and find it infectious; it’s a song I could play on repeat all night. I guess there’s also a connection with world affairs being mentioned in the lyrics, which I’ve always had a major interest in:

One of the most powerful and beautiful but also heartrending songs that these ears have ever heard; It reminds me that however many future life connections may be in store for us with someone special, the ending of one in this life can be traumatic.

My favourite MJ song, I love the message behind it, and I’ve just always thought it’s a brilliant tune:

My favourite Chili Peppers song, on balance(And I love many of their songs, but I’ve found a real sense of oneness with the lyrics of this one):

Another track which triggers powerful feelings and emotions for me, as I feel it’s so beautiful in an almost mystical respect; I find I can lose myself in the melody and lyrics.

This song has tended to always haunt me over time, as opposed to me being particularly attracted to it, although I do like it; maybe there’s a connection to it which hasn’t played out yet. Anyways, it obviously should get posted up here:
