That's a good sized one Ka. I recall the Anchorage 'quake back in '64 I think. That knocked the dust off the lampshades! Can't remember how grunty it was but it certainly was a doozey!

I really do dread to hear about what's going to happen further down the coast when a big one hits a city *shudders*
I've felt small tremors before... once I thought my boyfriend at the time had snuck into my place and was shaking the couch from behind me as a practical joke. Weird feeling...
They were lucky there was no initial damage but news reports have been coming in that a big aftershock brought on some gas leaks and fires... at least one home has exploded!
