Emirates chief Tim Clark reveals suspicions over true fate of missing flight MH370
OCTOBER 10, 2014 6:26PM
TIM Clark is no MH370 conspiracy theory crackpot.
As the recently knighted Emirates president and CEO told Aviation Week in July: “Something is not right here and we need to get to the bottom of it.”
“Something is not right:” Tim Clark says the idea that MH370 could disappear without a trace is “suspicious”.
Now, seven months after the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 vanished en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, Sir Tim has cast doubt on the official version of events.
In an extraordinary interview with German magazine Der Spiegel, he challenges the Australian Transport Safety Bureau’s conclusion this week that MH370 flew south over the Indian Ocean on autopilot for five hours until it ran out of fuel and fell out of the sky, forcing 239 passengers into a watery grave.
Instead, Sir Tim believes it is far more likely that “MH370 was under control, probably until the very end”, questions the veracity of the “so-called electronic satellite ‘handshake’” used by analysts to pinpoint the probable crash site and insists the mysterious cargo in the hold (removed from the manifest by Malaysian authorities) is a crucial clue to the puzzle.

Well, finally somebody is saying what we have been thinking all along: a big plane doesn not and cannot disappear like this. Full stop. There would have found at least a small clue by now.

Re: MH370: Mystery continues..
I did hear about the cargo, Stirks...
This is interesting:
And it says something many of us have been asking: when the Air France crashed, they found thousands of pieces of debris, but with the MH370 nothing...... where is the debris?

I do remember mention of some cargo. Was it some new invention, I'll have to have a look for those early articles.

Like gun owners who have to show what accessories they bought for their favorite gun, or the Barbie-doll and action figure collectors also do, so they can compare the greatness of their collection in size and quality of them, LOL

Re: MH370: Mystery continues..
Getting back on subject; I like that Sir Tim, I seem to recognise it somehow!
All these conspiracies are not really helping the families and perhaps they are adding to their pain. We need to think about this and wait, maybe for quite a while, before jumping to conclusions.
I recall something on our media about a cargo but I can't find any reference to it now.

Re: MH370: Mystery continues..
Found this article from back in March mentioning the Cargo...
MALAYSIA’S continuing refusal to share the cargo manifest for Flight MH370 with an Australian-led search and rescue operation will hamper the effort to find the missing aircraft, an aviation expert says.
Strategic Aviation Solutions chairman Neil Hansford said it also suggests Malaysian authorities are not being fully transparent about what the Boeing 777-200ER, which disappeared on March 8 an hour into a journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, was carrying.
“To me, there is no reason why they wouldn’t declare the cargo manifest unless you’ve got something to hide,” he said.
Malaysia Airlines chief executive officer Ahmad Jauhari Yahya on March 18 revealed the aircraft was carrying “three to four tonnes” of mangosteen.
Four days after that, he also confirmed press reports that the plane was carrying some small lithium-ion batteries but stressed they were transported according to International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) rules.
Professor Middleton said a severe fire caused by lithium-ion batteries would require “gallons of fluid to put it out”, but said if this was the cause of the aircraft’s disappearance it would be unlikely it could have flown all the way to the southern Indian Ocean.

Re: MH370: Mystery continues..
Yes, so many theories are not helping the families, but if you watch that video I posted you'll know in your heart that the plane did not crash and was made to disappear.
Reasons? Something undeclared in the cargo, some passengers (remember the chip /GPS experts?), the plane was not in good condition and it was better to make it disappear and cash insurance...... so many possibilities.

The Australian Federal Government has released a video explaining to families of missing MH370 victims why the search has not found anything after eight months.

Re: MH370: Mystery continues..
Rogue, I don't think we should hod our breath for a resolution of this mystery, if we can call it that. It certainly makes technological advancements on aviatíon look unreliable much the same as competance in security questions on 9/11. How can anyone have confidence when the powers that be has chosen to give the public incredible tit bits to feed on. Of they would tell the world they do not know what has happened it would have been accepted, but they leave this notion that the floght must be found.

MH370 search: Boeing 777 wing that could match missing plane found on French island of Reunion.
Debris that washed up on the island could be the remnants of a destroyed Boeing 777, the same model of plane that went missing in March last year.
Writing on a blog, French aviation security expert and former pilot Xavier Tytelman, said the images showed an "incredible" similarity between the appearance of the wreckage and the wing of a Boeing 777.
Comparing Boeing plane schematics and the images from the scene, Tytelman said there is a small possibility that the wreckage found could be the remnants of MH370.[size=13]
