Re: British Election - June 8
Aggy, I agree, the world is showing us that there is no where to hide or run. I believe the British exit was inevitable. You must remember that Briton used to rule the waves at one point, they don't like to follow and following especially Germany was always going to be a problem.
Theresa May is just beginning to realize that her role is not going to be easy and the turmoil that is most likely to follow is going to be more that a single politician can handle. I may be way off but the way I see it is total chaos all over the planet.
In terms of NK we with all the experience we have gathered should know that there was going to be one human being that would threaten and test the world with Atomic weapons. We built them and use them to gain leverage, humans do not build things and don't use them until the time is right. Kim Jun Un don't care about money or fame, he is carrying out the wishes of his father and grand father. China knew that and supported him.
My last point is Trump is not a strong man, he is uneducated in world affairs and the only thing that we will get from him is back pedaling as soon as he begins to understand the real world. America does not have to back itself in a corner because of NK, all they have to do is bring the north and south back together and the threat is gone.

Just a day to go...
GMB polls.
The Tories’ lead over Labour has shrunk from 17% to just 1% in a month, the latest poll also found.
The poll - conducted on June 2 and 3 - found 41.5% of respondents would vote Tory while 40.4% would vote Labour.

Could be a hung Parliament! Then either May or Jeremy will have to form a coalition with another party.
Go Jeremy!

Biting nails and praying to the gods!!
One of my neighbours just posted on FB he has voted Tory, feel like punching him! Although I am not surprised the majority of my neighbours (if not all!) are so stuck up their own arses pretend snobs!! But this lad is only young and has two disabled brothers, sigh!
Anyway I live in hope, I'll either be very happy in the morning or wanting to leave the bloody country!!!

Re: British Election - June 8
May has agreed an alliance with DUP and is on her way to the Queen to tell her..... May is not resigning as she should.
DUP is a conservative party in Norther Ireland, they are against gay marriage (they would banish gays if they could), against abortion, want a strong border with Ireland....... imagine now a coalition May/DUP....
I am so sorry for the younger generations.........
