No, not at all. But it's a very long time. One month is a more usual length of time. Say what you've got to say and be done with it.
Still, we've got it easy compared to your two years of campaigning. That's ridiculous! And I hate it cause it clogs up all our news

I will be ignoring it as much as possible and probably be voting early.

Re: Canada Federal Election
It feels like here our guys just keep electioneering right through from one election to the next. Little chance of much bipartisanship!
Good luck in surviving through this Kaere

Re: Canada Federal Election
That is messed up... sounds more like a conservative attack ad than anything. Harper (conservative) has been all over the provincial leaders instead of just the federal leaders to try to sway votes his way, creating public spats with the Alberta ndp and the Ontario liberals. I've never before seen that kind of mix between federal and provincial politicians.
Legit anonymous video or not, it's dirty politics and it's icky.

Re: Canada Federal Election
I do not really know much about Canadian politics except what I read from American news. I did hear things are not so great in terms of economics, but it was based on Canada being the biggest trading partner for the US.
How is it going?

The economy has been better but it's been a lot worse too. The dollar falling next to the US$ has made a bit of difference I think. The election is dull dull dulllll gawd it's boring.

Re: Canada Federal Election
Just read up a little on economy Kaere, it sounds as if Canada is so tied to the US that neither are doing that well. When you say the elections are dull, I guess you mean they are saying the same things as before? Truth is K, no place on earth is OK right now.Kaere wrote:The economy has been better but it's been a lot worse too. The dollar falling next to the US$ has made a bit of difference I think. Re: Canada Federal Election
I heard on the news last night that Canada may have slipped into recession. I not sure that is correct. But if so i imagine the election would be affected by such news.
