Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track has an intense databurst of happy memories and feelings from November/December 2000 everytime I listen to it, as this was a time of intense optimism for me, motivated by a combination of good things happening in my life and the prospect of great times ahead - especially unusual given that those months are the time I usually feel depressed!
This song has a great positive energy for me:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
When this version of this song first got released I thought it was by Alien Ant Farm themselves, as the original was before my time and I had no memory of hearing it; this track has some fun memories for me from my final year in school, when school itself was less important than socialising, house parties and fun times:
(I never actually saw the video till years later, and then noticed how clear the Michael Jackson references are, even if they weren't in the song itself. LOL!)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I first discovered this track in September 2002, when a friend gave me his copy of the There Is Nothing Left To Lose album - Foo Fighters still weren't "mainstream" in the UK at that time, and the singles off of that album hadn't had much airplay when they came out.
I've always found it a great feelgood song to listen to. Lately it came up in my YouTube recommendations as well, so that was a good cue to post it here:
(Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song was in the charts and getting extensive airplay on my local radio station while I was sitting my first ever exams, and it was a song I connected with the sound of at that time more than any other somehow, so it encapsulates the intensity, nervousness, excitement and good memories I associate with that time best of all; a lot of great memories associated with it:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I was struck by how different this track sounded when it first came out, and I was immediately drawn to what I felt was a mystical sound it had. I've always found it particularly relaxing to listen to, and I find I can lose myself in it:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
One of my favourite chillout tracks; I first discovered it when it got played on the radio one Sunday afternoon in June 2006(4 June, to be exact) and it washed over me as I was in a sleepy state. I connected strongly with it after that, and I've liked it ever since:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've loved this song for years now, and been drawn to it too; it's also haunted me at times. Tonight it got played on the radio in the taxi I was getting to Asda during the journey - a taxi which I'd randomly flagged down in the street just minutes before - so I decided that was a good cue to post it here:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
The only Metallica track I've really connected with so far, as I've heard it on many nights out, and through a combination of that and hearing it on the radio at various times, I've become extremely familiar with its sound. It seems to have haunted me at times in the past too:

I loved this track the first time I heard it, as I was massively drawn to the beat as well as the melody; I've always found it brilliant for dancing to:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track brings back a nice databurst of memories from the early summer of 2009, and I also find it autobiographical, from the point of view of being unique and my own person in a world which is still too conformist:

I've loved this track ever since I first heard it, I find it intensely autobiographical, not just in terms of the lyrics but also in terms of its energy:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song came out when I was a kid, and I remember finding the lyrics amusing, in one of my earliest experiences of connecting with music; it obviously made a strong impression, because it's never completely left my consciousness since:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track was part of the soundtrack of my childhood, basically. It was never well known or a big hit, but I absolutely loved it. I first heard it on the radio in my hotel room while on holiday in Yorkshire in early July 1996(Annoyingly I can't remember the exact date), and I had been sleeping but woke up as this song was playing. I was massively drawn to the beat as well as the tune, and once I got home a few days later, I listened out for it - it had begun getting radio airplay while I'd been on holiday - and started taping it off the radio whenever it came on. It stopped getting airplay after a few weeks, so I started phoning up the local radio station and requesting it. It stayed one of my favourite "current" songs for months after that.
Looking back now, I think this was one of my first experiences of connecting with a song on a soul level:
(Angie Brown/Bizarre Inc - Surprise)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track has a lot of strong memories for me from January/February 2001(When it was constantly being played on the radio here), fun and interesting times. It's haunted me on and off since, too:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always been drawn to the overall sound of this track, as I think it has a profoundly mystical sound, and I love that; I've always felt I can lose myself in it and connect with it on a subconscious level. It's followed me around at times too:

A more recent tune which I connected strongly with from the very first time I heard it, as I love many things about it, but especially the beat and rhythm - so far at least:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has never haunted me as such, but it has a lot of good personal memories from the time when it originally came out, and it's always tended to get stuck in my head for no particular reason too:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track is one I connected with relatively recently - since early 2014 - but the connection I've felt with it has been very strong, inspiring strong emotions. Maybe because I've mainly heard it on nights out, I dunno. But it's inspired powerful feelings for me:
