Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song was playing on the radio in the taxi which I got home from Asda the other night, and it’s one which brings back a huge amount of childhood memories for me from the first few months of 1997, when it was getting extensive radio airplay and had a long stay in the charts. I connected strongly with its overall sound during that time, and I especially love the vocals in it:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
A really cheesy song which has always been a guilty pleasure, and which brings back a massive amount of memories from January/February 1998 whenever I hear it; it’s always got into my head very easily ever since, too.
Last night it came back into my immediate consciousness, for no particular reason I can think of:
(Aqua - Doctor Jones)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has been massively in my consciousness - and subconsciousness - for the last few days. The other night I even had a dream about it, where I was reading a script for the music video, and in the bit with the interlude, the script was rewritten with emotive scenes from my life, playing out as movie scenes... I’ve never had a dream like that before!!
I’ve always liked the song, but this feels like a deeper connection than most:
(Alien Ant Farm - Movies)

I’ve grown to love this song for every aspect of its sound, which I find awesome; it has a lot of memories for me from the early summer of 2017 too:

This song has haunted me for years, and I’d grown to love it - I never even realised till recently that it was a Rita song. Lately I’ve been hearing it a lot due to the time I’ve been spending in Asda and reconnecting with it; the words have a personal resonance too:

I love the energy of this song, and it's haunted me, on and off, for ages. I've always been very drawn to its overall sound, and I find it still grows on me consistently with listening to it:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I was struck by the unusually stripped-back sound of this song when it first came out, although I didn't particularly like it; lately I've heard it a number of times, and I've felt a connection with it on a much deeper level:

I've grown to love this song in recent weeks, and it seems to be haunting me too, if I'm honest:

I don't even remember hearing this track when it originally came out, but I've heard it many times over the last couple of months when I've been out, and I've grown to love it, for its uptempo rhythm and sheer catchiness:

I loved this song when it originally came out - I connected strongly with its melody and also with some of its lyrics, even though I was too young at that time to fully appreciate their meaning.
Last night it came back into my immediate consciousness, although I’m not sure why TBH:
(Bitty McLean - It Keeps Rainin’)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I discovered this song via Last FM in 2015, and I immediately connected with it on a very deep level, as both the tune itself and the lyrics resonated with me; I noticed it seemed to haunt me at times too.
Today it's been back in my consciousness again:

This song has haunted me, on and off, since it first came out last year; I find it gets into my head really easily and find the chorus insanely catchy:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song is one I've always found really positive and uplifting; great feelgood song, and one which has always made me feel nostalgic for some reason, even when it first came out. The other night it happened to get played on YouTube in the pizza place I was visiting, and that was the first time I'd heard it for literally years; this reminded me how much I love it:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've heard this track a few times in Asda recently, and it reminds me how powerfully I connected with the lyrics when it was originally getting radio airplay in the summer of 2001; I was going through a particularly melancholy few weeks in August and early September 2001, and this song shone through it somehow.
I've always found the words beautiful, and still do now:
(Jennifer Lopez - Ain't It Funny)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track has figured significantly in my life at various times in the past, and I've felt a powerful draw to it. Among other things, I feel that there's a magical quality to this time of night, and I feel that this song encapsulates that vibe brilliantly. Earlier on tonight I happened to watch a documentary on The KLF, which put this song back in my immediate consciousness again:
(The KLF - 3AM Eternal)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I remembered hearing this song in the past, a long time ago, although it came out way before my time - but I heard it played on local radio one Saturday morning in March 2018, and connected strongly with its vibe, as well as its sound and melody:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I first heard this song in March 2018, when it was played by the live band at a dance event where I'd been invited to take photos. I was immediately drawn to it at that moment. After getting home that day I immediately checked the song out on YouTube - I thought Boyzone's version sounded best - and connected very powerfully with it.
It's been one which I've loved ever since:
