One of my two favourite songs off of the 21st Century Breakdown album, I've always loved everything about it - the tune and beat, the message it sends out RE the media(Including social media) and also the biographical element of it, the way it speaks to me personally and I identify with its energy and vibe:

One of my favourite Eminem tracks, and one which I think sums up my approach to life in many ways. It's haunted me at times in the past too:

This song is always one I've found particularly haunting and touching, and it's one that inspired powerful emotions in me when I reconnected with it a couple of years ago:



On watching the video, I've become aware of the sarcastic double meaning of the lyrics too, especially the brilliant way Kirsty sings it; This makes me embrace the song all over again.

I immediately liked this song a lot when it first came out, since I found the lyrics very powerful as well as being struck by the melody; in the last few years it's also haunted me at times:

I was captivated by the sound of this track when it first came out, more than I was by Crazy In Love. Lately it's been in my head more, again, and then when I checked out Wikipedia yesterday it was actually on the Homepage as the featured article... One way or another I've definitely felt haunted by it at times:

My favourite song by Sugababes in any of their past incarnations, this track has always resonated powerfully for me ever since it came out, especially in terms of the lyrics:

A song that's haunted me at times over the years, although I consider the sound of it to be iconic in general, and it's always been one I've loved hearing on nights out:



I was surprised to find out it's from 1979 too, when I searched for it to post it here - for some reason I always thought it was from 1985!!

My first experience of connecting properly with a psychedelic song was when I happened to hear this playing in the kitchen of the student flat I'd recently moved into, in May 2004. I remembered I had the CD, looped the song repeatedly and let it wash over me. I loved the randomness of the lyrics, as well as the violin, and they left a profound impression.
I've had a soft spot for it ever since:

I've never been particularly drawn to this song, although some feelings have definitely become associated with it over the years - but it has haunted me, pretty consistently, ever since it first came out:

A song from the summer of 2004 which distinctly reminded me of 80s music when I first heard it, but I connected with both the sound and the lyrics, and I've liked it a lot ever since:

A song which speaks directly to my soul whenever I listen to it, as the lyrics appeal massively to my innate sense of wanderlust.
From the time I first discovered the Insomniac album 16 years ago, this was one of my favourite songs on it:

This track has one of my favourite beats, some lyrics which I really love, and one of my favourite guitar solos. I have vague early childhood memories of it from a car advert in the early 90s, when my sister used to listen to it a lot too, as she was a big Brian May fan. 
It's haunted me at times too, when listening on Last FM:
