Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I first discovered this song when listening to a tape of Ash's 1977 album in the summer of 2002, and it mesmerised me; the overall structure and sound of it, as well as the lyrics and the drumming, captivated me on a different level from most other music I'd heard and liked before.
It's had a profound overall meaning for me ever since:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
A song which I've always particularly loved the energy and power of, and one which has a lot of fun personal memories for me from when I was partying after I'd just sat my First Year Uni exams:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I properly discovered this song in late 2003 when listening to a compilation CD called Air Guitar Anthems, and immediately loved it - I've found the beat and tune captivating ever since, especially the intrumental and guitar solo:

One of my favourite P!nk songs, and I've connected strongly with this track ever since it first got released - not just because I love its power and energy, but because I've considered it to be a personal anthem:

I've always been deeply struck by the power and beauty of this song, the way the lyrics seem to have a personal message for me, and its overall mystique. The instrumental, in particular, has always sounded beautiful to me:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always loved the melody, tune and lyrics of this song; it's never really haunted me so far, but it made a massive psychological impact for me when it first got released - I remember at least one time when I'd been asleep with the radio playing, this song came on and I woke myself up by singing along with it in my sleep.
I've always had a strong connection with it:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I heard this track a handful of times on Radio 1's evening new music playlist show back in January/February 2007, and I've loved it ever since - I find the rhythm and beat captivating, and I found the lyrics and vocals amusing too:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always loved the overall sound of this song - the beat, the tempo, the melody, the lyrics, the Glam Rock influence. I've been massively drawn to it ever since it got released as a single here in the spring of 2007, and it also has fun memories attached to it from hearing it at house parties and on nights out at that time:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track has many powerful happy memories for me of the weeks after I moved into my first flat in early May 2004(It was regularly getting played on Radio 1 throughout that May and June), and the overwhelming sense of freedom and excitement I felt at that time; it's also tended to get into my head easily from time to time ever since:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
One of my favourite energy songs, and it quickly became my favourite track on Slippery When Wet when I discovered the album properly in the summer of 2004. Love everything about it, and it's one of my favourite songs for dancing to:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This was the track that first made me aware of the Chili Peppers, and for years it was my favourite song of theirs - not just because I loved its beat and tune, but also due to it not being available on any of their albums. It's always been a track which I've connected strongly with the overall sound of, and it has a lot of happy memories for me from June/July 1997, which is when it got released and played on radio stations in the UK:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I loved this track when it originally came out, mainly for its eccentricity and because it sounded different. As with all the other songs which I liked in late 1996/early 1997, I used to tape it off the radio when it got played and then play the tape recordings back. I was glad I did, because this song wasn’t a big hit and it only got radio airplay for a few weeks between late December 1996 and early February ‘97. It’s never haunted me(Not yet anyways) and I can’t remember hearing it get played on the radio since it was in the charts, but I remembered it earlier on tonight, and it brought back a lot of memories:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I remember hearing this song on the radio a lot when it originally got released in the UK(November/December 1993) and thinking it sounded magical and beautiful, although I was too young to really understand music at that time.
The first time I remember connecting properly with it was when it got played on a Saturday night love song show on the local radio station one night in June 1999. Then, again, I heard it playing on the radio in the taxi I was in one morning in November 2000.
It sounded so sentimental and captivating, I was massively moved by it. I now know that I was connecting with it subconsciously, on the deepest level possible:
(Elton John & Kiki Dee - True Love)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has a lot of happy and exciting childhood memories for me from October/November 1998, when I was studying for my first prelim exams and rehearsing for my first stage play all at once. The databurst of memories is just as fresh and beautiful each time I hear the song, and it also brings back memories of something unusual in my life - a winter when I wasn't depressed:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song was part of the soundtrack of my childhood, at two different times; I remember loving it when it originally got released in the spring of 1997, and then appreciating it all over again when it got re-released in the autumn of 2000(By which time it already sounded and felt like a musical time capsule for me). It's also tended to get into my head regularly in the years since:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I heard this song playing on the soundsystem in my favourite Jazz-themed restaurant when I was there the other night, it was the first time I've heard it for years, and it brought back a lot of memories for me from early 2001, when it originally got released as a single here, and when it also used to get stuck in my head a lot, since I found it extremely catchy:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I first came across this song in late 2016, when my local 24H McDonald's started playing it regularly in the small hours of the morning when I was also a regular there. It very quickly got into my head, and I soon grew to love it, as the words resonated with me strongly, and I found it awesomely expressive.
It's been a track which I've had a soft spot for ever since:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This is a song that I've had a profound connection with since my very early childhood, as my sister used to listen repeatedly to it and that imprinted it at a deep level for me, since it became connected to a multitude of early memories. After not hearing it at all for many years, I suddenly reconnected with it last November after hearing it get played on a local radio station, and finally I was able to connect with it on YouTube too.
It has a massive number of childhood memories attached to it for me:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
Steps provided part of the soundtrack of my childhood, before I discovered heavier music, and partly because all their singles used to get played on local radio when I was growing up. But this song in particular has always struck a chord with me, as I've always been drawn to the lyrics, which struck me as particularly heartfelt and touching. It's haunted me on and off too:
