Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track is unusual in this list as it’s only the tune and beat that I really love, and I’m pretty indifferent towards the lyrics - although the title and chorus do make it an appropriate one for me to post last thing at night

I've always loved the vibe, tune and lyrics of this song, and I've always been moved by the sentiment of it too. Feeling in the mood for sharing it just now:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always been very drawn to this song, and it's always been a melancholy one for me as I've associated it with the feeling you get when you realise a deep and powerful connection with a loved one is ending; I love the tune but find it's a very emotional one to listen to:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This is a song I’ve always been drawn to since the first time I heard it - There have been times when I was asleep with the radio on, this song came on, and I began dreaming it before waking myself up singing along to it - I’m thinking that must be a sign of powerful feelings somehow, LOL!
It takes on a particularly special meaning for me right now, as she visited my new flat the other night bringing beautiful housewarming gifts, and tomorrow she is leaving for a while to spend a short holiday in New York with family :’)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always been drawn to this version of this track ever since it came out, and found myself listening very deeply to it. I've always been indifferent to the original, but Ellie's version brings the song alive for me:
I remember it got released as a single in the middle of the horrific(in the UK) winter of 2010-2011, in the December actually - and everytime I listen to it I can transport back in time and feel all the same vibes I was feeling at the time when I was hearing the song regularly on Radio 1... It's like an emotional time capsule.
I've had the same experience with loads of other songs but it's especially strong with this one; I'm not sure why.

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always found this song speaks directly to my heart and soul - I was actually listening to the Muse Playlist on Last FM one time in the summer of 2015 when it happened to come on, and I immediately felt captivated and mesmerised by it; it's been a favourite of mine ever since. I love how the lyrics seem to speak to and for me, although I've never understood exactly why yet; It evokes powerful soul feelings.

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I’ve always loved this song ever since it came out, hearing it has always made me intensely happy and as well as really chilled out, and it’s haunted me from time to time as well; it’s haunted me again recently, and beautiful synchronicities in the last week or so have put me in mind of it again now:

I've always liked this track and been drawn to it too, I love both the tune and the sentiment, although I've never understood quite why yet, even if it also has some nice memories associated with it from the summer it got released - I'm guessing it might be a song I further connect with in the future:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song spoke directly to my soul the first time I heard it; I was on a night out at the local rock club back in August 2008, and it had obviously been requested by someone else there, since it was near the end of the night. I felt the most overwhelming flood of emotion when I heard it, and it was more the overall sound of the track that I connected so powerfully with, although I was drawn to the lyrics too.
The strong connection I feel with this song has never changed, and I pride myself on being one of those who already knew and loved it before Glee popularised it, LOL:
For some reason, I find that the mini-instrumental from 1:54 to 2:03 is one of the most emotive sections of music I've ever heard so far.
(Journey - Don't Stop Believing)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've always been a big Strokes fan, but this song just felt like it was on a different level for me the first time I heard it. I was captivated by the lyrics as well as the majesty of the tune itself. I found that the lyrics spoke to me on a deep level, and I still do now; I feel that they sum up a lot of the sentiments I associate with friendships and relationships in their different stages. It's the Strokes song that I connect with the most:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I feel a powerful connection with this one too but it seems to be for a mixture of reasons; the tune itself, the fact it’s laser-burned into my memory because my sister(who’s 12 years older than me) used to listen to it loads when it originally came out, plus it’s haunted me occasionally too... A kind of mixed connection:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This is a track I've always loved; I've generally been lukewarm towards Keane's music(Although I liked the tracks on their debut album more), but I've always connected with the sentiment of this one as well as its sound - it's always jumped out at me more than the others:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This is a track I've always loved ever since it was released, but I've never understood why on a personal level - till earlier on tonight, when it burst into my consciousness again for the first time in years. This feels like Synchronicity in action:
This feels like I'm going through a phase of being more awake than usual - spiritually as well as physically, LOL.

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has spoken to me ever since I first heard it(I saw the movie one night 3 years ago) and I think it's an anthem for anyone who has been misunderstood or unfairly treated in the past just for being an individual... Even if it's a fluffy Disney one, LOL! As cartoon tracks go, only some songs from the Lion King soundtrack inspire such strong feelings for me:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I first heard this song in the summer of 2013 when I was spending long hours in my local 24Hour McDonald's most nights - and they kept playing it there. It captivated me, both in terms of the tune and the lyrics, which I found particularly inspired and expressive.
I've loved it ever since, and I find it expresses my feelings for me at times when I'm feeling angsty or melancholy. It's haunted me at times too. I think it's an awesome tune:
(Arctic Monkeys - Black Treacle)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track has always mesmerised me, and I don't think I've ever been able to listen to it without dancing. It made me realise what a powerful connection I feel with traditional Irish music, especially uptempo Irish music. It was just within the last 18 months or so that I've realised these strong feelings stem from past life experiences.
It's one that's very close to my heart:
(Unfortunately there seem not to be any great quality videos of it on YouTube right now - the only video I could find with footage from the music video had poor sound quality!)
(Sham Rock - Tell Me Ma)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I've never really been a Lighthouse Family fan per se, but this song has always struck a chord with me; I find the lyrics very touching and beautiful. Tonight I feel I've been pointed in the direction of it by beautiful events:
I think "soul satellite" might be an underused term.

I’ve always loved this song so much and been so drawn to it, especially to the lyrics, which resonate massively with me; it’s been in my head for a few days now, so this is probably an appropriate time to share it here, since this Christmas Day has been easily the best one I can remember:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
The tune and rhythm of this song jumped out at me the first time I heard it, and the lyrics have resonated with me from time to time as well - I remember it being one of my favourite tracks on a mix CD I made about 3 years ago. It’s one of the more lighthearted musical connections I have, but I love it; it’s a song I find I lose myself in:
And I love her voice!

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
Looking back now, I think part of why I was so drawn to this song is because the lyrics have such spiritual meaning; maybe I was connecting with it on a subconscious level as well as loving how it sounded. It's one of my favourites to listen to when I'm in a contemplative mood:
