Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has loads of great childhood memories for me, of the time when it had recently been released, when I had a great new bunch of friends and was in the process of discovering house parties and nights out; that time is a very special one for me, and this song always brings back a databurst of memories from it:

This track provided probably the start of my musical awakening, realising there were other kinds of music than the manufactured radio-friendly pop which I'd mainly listened to before this started getting radio airplay in June 2000. I loved its attitude and aggressiveness, as well as finding a lot of the lyrics amusing. It helped characterise that summer for me, and it's had a special personal meaning for me ever since:

I immediately loved this track as soon as I heard it because of its beat; it very quickly became part of the soundtrack of the summer of 2003 for me, with some brilliant memories of partying and volunteer work that I did during July and August of that year:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
Watching a classic F1 race from 1990 on Sky earlier tonight reminded me of this track, which is laser-burned into my memory at a basic level, since the BBC used to use it on their F1 coverage on their recorded highlights of F1 races for the first 3 years I was watching F1, and played immediately before and after the race highlights themselves on each show. I always associated it with the most exciting part of the show, as it was played in the form of background music when the grid order for each race was being announced immediately before the race start.
It has a lot of great childhood memories associated with it for me, and earlier tonight I finally did a comprehensive search for it on YouTube, which revealed the track's name(Ivory Tower from NeverEnding Story)... I've always loved Giorgio Moroder's music!
This track is one which I consider truly beautiful:

This is a song which I've always associated with November; not just because a remixed version of it was released in November 1995, which actually provided my first ever experience of listening to Blondie when it got the corresponding radio airplay, but also due to its general sound, which I think perfectly encapsulates the vibes and feels which November in Scotland brings with it:

This track has a lot of childhood memories for me, related to cars and motor racing - I remember associating it more with 1990 than 1988, and I always thought of it as a novelty track more than anything else, but it really captured my imagination when I was a kid:

This song is one which has always tended to haunt me from time to time, and one which also has childhood memories for me, everytime I hear it, summed up by its overall sound:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song just came up in my YouTube recommendations, and it brings back loads of powerful memories and vibes from April 2001, when it got released in the UK and was getting regular radio airplay. I was studying for my Highers at the time, as well as hanging out more and more with new friends I'd made, and the strong mix of feelings induced by these personal circumstances seems to be stored in this song somehow, and released each time I hear it, probably helped by the fact I found the lyrics amusing and interesting when I first became familiar with it:

This is the only Phil Collins song which I connected with at the same time it was released - I remember loving its overall sound, as well as its title:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song got released not long after I'd settled into my first flat in 2004, and I found that it resonated powerfully with me at that point in time, as I grew to love its sentiment and vibes; not regarding any other person, but more the overall emotional message the song puts across. It became a time capsule of memories and feelings for me.
I've connected with it whenever I hear it ever since, and it has tended to haunt me over time:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This track was one which immediately captured my attention and imagination when it got released in the winter of 2009/2010 - I can distinctly remember listening to Radio 1 on the afternoon of 2 January 2010 and hearing the DJ introducing it, for example. It came to symbolise the happier memories I have from that winter. I loved its rhythm and beat, and it also had a degree of personal resonance, since there's a whole area of Dundee which is called Riverside:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I first felt a personal connection with this song when it got played on local radio late one night at the end of March 1997 - when it was already a couple of years old - and I remember loving its opening guitar chords and thinking how it reminded me of a happier time.
Over the years since, it's tended to haunt me too, and just the other night it came up in my YouTube recommendations, which I felt was a good cue to post it here:

LOL, glad you like it
It brings back memories of when I was younger too - when that song came out as a single I was in my final term at primary school! A different lifetime altogether, that's how it feels anyways

LOL Yep, 95 was the year I finished primary school and started secondary/high school. Loads of memories!
And you're not old... You don't act it and you don't look it, therefore it can't be!

One of my favourite instrumental pieces ever, and it's tended to haunt me over time too, including when it turned up in my YouTube recommendations a few minutes ago:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has great memories for me from April/May/June 2007, when I was first discovering social media through being on MySpace and then Bebo, and connecting or reconnecting with a lot of my old friends including ones I hadn't seen since school, which felt awesome. This song encapsulates that time for me more than any other, somehow, and it deserves a place here for that:
