Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song just came up in my YouTube recommendations, and it's one which has meant a lot to me over time; I remember it first getting radio airplay over the winter of 1994/95, and although I wasn't really old enough to understand the lyrics, I found the melody very beautiful and emotive. I first connected properly with the lyrics a few years later in the autumn of 2000, and the song took on a greater personal meaning for me at that point.
It's always been one which I've deeply enjoyed listening to:
(Boyzone - Love Me For A Reason)

That was the same way it came across to me too, really sweet-sounding, and innocent-sounding enough that I could fully appreciate the beauty of its melody even as a kid.
Also because its release roughly coincided with the release of the original Lion King movie and the feels that movie gave me, as well as songs associated with its soundtrack, this Boyzone song kinda tied in with that general "D'Awwwwwwww!" feeling I felt a lot of during that Christmas/New Year holiday period... Beautiful!

My favourite Shania song(And there are a few which I love, mainly all on the Come On Over album), it's one which I've always particularly loved the sound and energy of:
(And the video too... OMG!)
(Shania Twain - Don't Be Stupid)

This song is one which I've considered to be a personal anthem for various reasons in the past, and it's consistently haunted me over time too. This morning it's back in my immediate consciousness again:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This is a song which I've listened to countless times on Bon Jovi's albums as well as on various Bon Jovi compilation tapes which I made in the early 2000s, particularly 2004. It's one which I've connected with it in various different ways over time, and now I feel like it's appropriate to post it here too, especially in light of the recent dream I had:

This song is one which I've always considered both beautiful and touching, and after seeing Pretty Woman twice recently, as well as hearing of the sad loss of Marie Fredriksson who sang it so well(And who I'd actually begun to feel drawn to in the last year, for some reason), I felt strongly compelled to post it here now:
(Roxette - It Must Have Been Love)

Yeah, I didn't know either till I saw the BBC roundup of the events of 2019 a few days ago which they showed after their Breakfast news show, and she was one of those in the 'Remembered' section.

I loved the energy and feelgood sound of this song when it originally came out, and it’s the only Lightning Seeds song I’ve ever really connected with; over the last couple of days it’s been back in my immediate consciousness again:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
I was a massive fan of this song when it got released in January 1997 and got the corresponding airplay - I connected very strongly with its overall sound, melody and energy.
Recently it’s been back in my immediate consciousness again for the first time for years:
(Michelle Gayle - Do You Know)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has been haunting me again today - I’ve been in a public place twice in the last 12 hours when it got played, once in a cafe and once in Asda, so I’m posting it here - first song I’ve posted twice in this thread, even though this is a different version from the one I posted before, and the version which I heard both times today.
It makes me so emotional every time I hear it:
(Anne-Marie & James Arthur - Rewrite The Stars)

I heard this song playing on the soundsystem at the restaurant I was in last night, it was literally the first time I’ve heard it for years, and it reminded me how much I love everything about it - especially its energy and vibes:

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has great memories for me from January 2001, when it first got released in the UK - an especially positive and uplifting January for me in terms of new experiences I was having and associated fun times, as well as being characterised by unusually cold, sunny and snowy weather, which helps it to stand out in my memories of various winters.
This song imprinted itself strongly on my overall consciousness in January and February of that year, so much so that hearing it always brings back a databurst of memories from that specific time.
Lately it seems to be haunting me wherever I go, and it’s consistently been getting played on the soundsystems in public places which I’ve visited, even coming on the soundsystem in Asda in the small hours of this morning when I was only there for literally 5 minutes:
(Jennifer Lopez - Love Don’t Cost A Thing)

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
No I hadn’t seen it... Wowee!!
I actually thought that must be an older pic when I first saw it, purely because she looks so young in it.
This isn’t helping my J-Lo addiction at all, LOLOLOLOL... Not that I’m complaining
And yeah, amazing looks - you’re as young/old as you feel!

Re: TrueCrazyLion's Playlist
This song has been back in my consciousness again lately, and it has a lot of great memories for me from October/November 2000, when it got released and got the corresponding radio airplay; most of all for me it has a vibe of uncertain but potentially positive and exciting times associated with it, which hasn’t faded at all over the years:
